Studio M Designs

Home staging & interiors Austin, TX Homepage redesign

A real Austin staging studio with great work and a homepage doing too much at once. I redesigned it into one calm page with two clear paths.

The focus
One clear next step
01
The studio

A real studio that's good at two things.

Studio M Designs is an Austin home-staging and interior design studio, working across the greater Austin metro. Staging that helps homes sell, plus full interior design for people who stay.

I found them while looking for studios whose work outshines their website.

02
What I'd change

The homepage tries to say everything at once.

The work is strong, but the page is busy: a long nav with eight dropdowns, the same headline repeated three times, and a "Shop" tab that competes with the actual services. A visitor lands and doesn't know where to look first.

And there are two different jobs here, staging and interior design, mashed into one stream. The homepage should help a visitor pick their lane in a second.

when a page says everything,
a visitor hears nothing.
03
The fix

One calm page. Two clear paths.

Keep the good work front and center, then make the next step obvious.

  • Cut the nav to the essentials; drop "Shop" off the homepage.
  • Split the hero into two clear paths: "Selling a home" and "Designing one."
  • Lead with before/after staging photos, the proof that sells the service.
  • One warm "Book a consult" instead of a headline repeated three times.

Same studio, same work. Just a homepage that points each visitor somewhere.

04
The goal

Here's the number I'd hold this homepage to.

"The win isn't more clicks, it's the right ones. I'd track how many visitors reach the correct consult page, staging or design, on the first try. A homepage that sorts people well books better-fit work and wastes fewer calls."
